Nick's enjoys putting on music events in the banquet room.  While blues and classical music are scheduled, jazz is the most featured.  The strong jazz scene in Portland, probably the best on the west coast, makes it an obvious choice.  We have featured musicians such as Mel Brown, Thara Memory, Warren Rand, Gordon Lee, Mose Allison, Randy Porter, Phil Baker, Rebecca Kilgore, Nancy King, and many, many more.  A cover is charged which goes to the musicians, and an a la carte menu is available.

In addition to music, we often present special dinners featuring local winemakers and their well known and respected products.

Seating for these evenings is limited to 45 people.  Thus, the atmosphere is intimate but requires reservations.
